Covers 1 body & 1 lens on same sales slip or Just 1 body only. For individual lens sale only, you will need to buy a lens Mack warranty.
The digital still camera registered below is guaranteed to operate according to manufacturer’s specifications for a period of 3 additional years after the expiration of the manufacturer’s warranty or we shall repair same to operate properly. This service contract may be purchased for New Products with at least ninety (90) days remaining on the original manufacturer’s warranty. You must register this warranty within thirty (30) days of purchase with Mack Camera by visiting their website www.mackcam.com or by calling them toll free at 1-800-252-MACK (6225) or 973-467-2291.
Please note that this warranty does not apply for Person to Person sales such as items purchased on ebay. If you are purchasing an item off ebay, please check with Mack to see if it will be covered. Once the warranty is purchased, there will be no refund.
In the event this equipment requires any repair or service you must visit www.mackcam.com and arrange for service to obtain a Repair Authorization Number and current shipping charges. Mack Camera & Video Service Inc. is not responsible for international shipping or for any fees associated with Duties, Taxes or Brokerage fees upon customs clearance.
The equipment will be restored to proper operating condition at no charge to you (this includes warranted parts and labor for manufacturer’s defects.) Such service, repair or adjustment of the equipment is assured to the registered contract holder, provided the equipment has not been misused, tampered with, modified or damaged as a result of liquid, grit, sand, corrosion, serial number altered, defaced or removed, impact and physically broken parts or lack of proper care as indicated in the manual of operations. Cracked screens are not covered. You may transfer this service contract to another person for a $20.00 administrative fee. Mack Camera & Video Service reserves the right to terminate service contracts if invoices are not paid within terms or are fraudulently altered by the dealers or service contract holder.
This limited service contract applies only to the product specified herein. It does not cover damaged LCD’s, interchangeable lens, batteries, remotes, power adapter, digital media, software, bent card reader pins, docking station and additional accessories or other expenses of consequential damages.
Mack Camera & Video Service will not be liable for the loss of revenues or profits, inconvenience, expense of substitute equipment, loss of incidental or consequential damages.
If the equipment cannot be restored to manufacturer’s specifications or is deemed by Mack Camera, in its sole discretion, to be beyond economic repair, or if the unit has been repaired 3 consecutive times for the same repair and it requires a 4th repair for the same problem, Mack may, at our discretion, replace your unit with a reconditioned model or equivalent model of like kind and quality or refund you the current market value of your covered equipment in U.S. Dollars. Any refund will be limited to the price you paid for the original product excluding taxes. If a replacement or refund is made under this contract there will no longer be coverage under this contract and all obligations are satisfied.
This service contract applies only to the product(s) specified herein.
This service contract is not an insurance policy or a warranty. This service contract is only valid if positive identification is presented at time of service.
